Preparation:

UMHB's annual MEW marks a major event week with months of plan and preparation.

Students prepare meal for missionary welcome dinner.

Students clean up after missionary welcome dinner.

Students on the Church Relation committee go over scheduling for the week.

Conversations:

Students start the week off by talking with missionaries.

Missionaries attend weekly Bible Studies like I.M.A.G.E. for opportunities to meet students.

Along with I.M.A.G.E., missionaries attend Freshman Ministry weekly Bible Studies.

The BSM's Ministry Leadership Council also got a visit from missionaries.

Students meet missionaries in classes.

After student have many opportunities to meet missionaries, they have time to eat a meal and have in-depth conversation in the SUB and Hardy.

Events:

Missionaries meet in discussion panels.

Missionaries hold hour long seminars on various topics.

Missionary from Wycliffe Bible Translators gives students a monolingual demonstration.

Persecuted Church Simulation:

Students participate in event to bring awareness of life around the world in underground churches.

Student meet missionaries in dorms.

McLane's “Communicating Christ in Conflict” seminar with Scott and Abby Bertrand and Susan Curry.

Burt "Coffee House" with the Susan Curry.

Hunter and Mary Huff  share in Burt while at the Tea Party.

Students meet missionaries during Missions Fair in SUB Tuesday and Wednesday.

Church Staff  members attend Wednesday's breakfast in the Moon Building.

Students meet and hear missionaries speak at Wednesday and Friday Chapels.

UMHB faculty and staff sit and munch on lunch while missionaries share about their work and the influence UMHB has had on them.

Students participate in a guided pray time for different parts of the world.
