Apartment-Style Living

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor has apartment-style complexes, which are available to students with 60 or more hours.

Huckins Apartments

The one-bedroom/one bath apartments are located on the corner of 9th Ave. and Main St., one block from the corner of campus and the library. Each apartment has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and bedroom/bath and walk-in closets. They come furnished with two beds, two dressers, a dining room table and accompanying chairs, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Patrolled by campus security. All utilities are covered except phone.

Independence Village

The Independence Village facility offers students two options for living.   The original seven two-story buildings have a total of 54 units that are two bedroom and two bathroom and are assigned with four residents.  The three new buildings are three-story and have a total of 72 apartment-style units.  These new buildings offer the option of private bedrooms and are assigned with two residents.  Each apartment-style unit has a full kitchen and dining area.

Beall Hall

Double occupancy rooms have large living room/kitchenette areas and private bathrooms. The rooms have common living and kitchenette areas. The living rooms are furnished with a couch, two chairs, an end table, and a TV table. The kitchenette is equipped with a dining table, four chairs, a full-size refrigerator, built-in microwave, and a full set of kitchen cabinets.
