(Speaking for the campus) When it is cold outside the heating settings inside make some of the buildings uncomfortably hot. Most people have talked to agree. The ones I know to be hot are Meyers, Davidson, and especially the Chapel. People can always keep their jacket on in class but it’s annoying having to go from winter layers to stripping down for the inside heat. The school could save thousands of dollars in heating expenses and students could be more comfortable in classes.
(Concerning my own situation) I have histamine hyper release syndrome which is a type of heat rash that is very painful and has been trigger on several different occasions in these buildings. I have to strip down to shorts and a t-shift in the Chapel in the winter and it still sometimes does not help enough.
